how long does it take to close a bank acc.

I know the bank wont let merchants know your info, but I was just wondering if I wanted to close my bank acc thats linked to paypal, how long does it take for everything to clear up? I mean, I just close the bank acc and it will disconnect right away with no traceable info at all?

But yes, I do not think account can receive money after you have closed it.

I would like to know a more detailed answer so I will wait back on forum members with more experience.

Can be closed instantaneously at the bank.
