Default Big problem with supposed advice

Last month my ebay manager called me to know why listing is down.
I told him thats because sale is down.He told me to list whatever i have.I told him No because if nothing sale its me who is going to pay fee and thus end up in loss.
He told me he has power to return 50% fee if this happens.
I told him i am going to do auction listing and if it get good response i will buy ebay shop and list my all items.
I did auction listing which got little or no response.I ended in $20 loss.
This other ebay seller i know has ended up in $450+ loss.
Meanwhile ebay manager has changed.Old ebay manger is not traceable.New one says there is no such a skim!
I have got nice lesson for dollar $20.Sharing here because i dont want any of you go through same.
Dont buy these skims if you do not have anything in written format or atlist email from ebay as a proof to show afterward.

And you did not bother to phone someone else higher in ebay to check the advice?

If my manager told me stuff like that, I want it in writing tripled signed.

Two points: if you are selling enough to have an account manager, then never trust them.
They still are ebay employees.
2nd point, said manager might have known he was leaving for whatever reason. This was revenge. Which brings me back to my 1st statement. Why did you not bother to check? py;

I have mailed higher authorities about this incident but i dont have big hope here as there is no proof to show.It was just a phone conversation.
I am watching what happens with this other seller who has got huge loss because of this.

BTW looks like you changed title of this thread?

Yup, I did. At the most it would be 'alleged'. New title fits better.

Just what do you want the forum to tell you?

If this allegedly happened, how are you going to prove it?
How can you prove it was really the manager?

Why are you concerned for a $20 loss? The other seller is of no concern. This is you presenting the situation.

The advice was bad. It was bad advice for any number of reasons.
Leanr from bad advice. Move on and sell $40 of items.
