(You can start by telling me how I can get a .ie domain name!)

May the force be with you. . .:D

Well its really just that i needed to know! The Ebay Stealth along with a few years of experience thought me the rest :D

I wouldnt know much about registering domains but id suggest trying here> Welcome to the IE Domain Registry Website

Let me know if you figure it out cze im clueless enough when it comes to those topics!

given that your title was trouble with ebay phone registration, one would assume you meant ebay...
:rolleyes::rolleyes:

so yes mobile for ebay, landline is for paypal, but is only needed if asked for landline verifcation, which is actually less of an issue since their rules on location verifcation have changed, so I would only buy a voip if and when needed, paypal can contact you on mobile, the dial code and number is formatted in boxes same as landline.....

How to obtain a single land line from soho66:

1. Go to Soho66 - Business VoIP | Fax Email | Business Telephony and register an account.

2. Once you are registered click 'Business VoIP Packages'.

3. Select ‘Single user VoIP’ and select ‘Sign up now’ - £2 a month for one land line number.

4. Continue to choose the option for a single Business VoIP Solo number at £2 a month.

5. Then select an area code and choose your desired land line phone number.

6. Select your call plan as ‘pay as you use’.

7. Next step is to add forwarding call credit.

How to forward your land line number to any mobile phone:

1. Once you have your land line number, go to My Soho > My Services > My Numbers.

2. Click your land line number and select ‘Call Routing’.

3. 1st step – select ‘Send the call to one or more internal/external destinations’

4. Enter your chosen mobile phone number into the box entitled ‘External telephone numbers to ring’.

5. Turn ‘Call delivery assurance’ ON to “avoid the call being answered by an answering machine on the forwarded number”.

6. 2nd step – Select ‘Finish by hanging up without going to voicemail’.

7. Finished – You have a land line that forwards to your mobile phone :D

:peace:

nice in depth post there on how to use soho66 there shady :thumb:

Im not sure why people pay for such services, google voice works fine with me. And if you need to call eBay all you need is a headset to call from that google voice number free.

Imakemoney 04-30-2011 08:00 PM

ive never looked at google voice so I dont know how it works.

But does it keep the line open? or is it just a quick fix to register as a seller on ebay?

With soho66 you just route the number to your mobile so if paypal/ebay call at any time of the day you can answer, thus preventing potential limitation.

 Thanks a million bud il get right on it!

I owe you big time man :hail:

One more quick question about the whole voIP service.

Let's say my ebay account gets suspended therefore taking the voIP phone number down with it,if i want to start a new stealth account can i just log in to Soho66 and pick a new number without having to register a new account and pay again for the service?

You can get as many numbers as you want :thumb:

Imakemoney 05-01-2011 06:09 AM

If that account goes down you cannot use that number again with any ebay/paypal account.

With your same soho66 account you can have several different numbers.

All you need to do is cancel the previous number first so you stop getting charged for that one, by clicking 'my numbers' then 'cancel a service' then you wont pay the £2 odd recurring paying monthly for that number.

To get a new number just click 'my numbers' then 'add a new number' then it will take you through the same process as before. it will cost you £2.40 again and keep that number open for the same reasons as stated before.

So to sum up yes you can easily get a new number through the steps previously stated but it will cost you £2.40....which I believe is a small price to pay for a working ebay/paypal account :peace:

Dont forget you need a new bank account to VERIFY your PP account.

Know what VERIFY means, its different to CONFIRMING your VCC ;-)

Yeah its been verified with a bank account for quite a while now! Like the paypal i am using has been used on 2 other ebay accounts before this one(with different emails obviously) so it should be okay to add another email and start over again right? :noidea:

I remember when reading the Ebay Stealth book it said to only use 2 ebay accounts to the one PP but surely 3 would be okay?

ShadyOne 05-01-2011 11:40 AM

Are you saying these 'other' ebay accounts that were using this Paypal account have been suspended...

Please tell me you are NOT being serious?

I think one may be and one not but they aren't linked to the Paypal account, I just enter the email to send to when asked how to accept payment when listing items!

Their is no difference, to confirm is to verify.

You confirm both your bank and your credit card as part of the PayPal account verification process.

cortex 05-05-2011 04:51 PM

there is a difference between confirm and verify

ShadyOne 05-05-2011 05:00 PM

^^ Give me an example :suspicious:

To verify anything on PayPal you must confirm the info, I don't see what you are getting at cortex?
