As far as I'm aware, the terminology used on here is misleading.
To "verify" means to change an unverified pp account into a verified pp account. This is a separate process to adding a vcc/cc to ur pp account and "confirming" it.
To confirm something, in the realms of pp, means you confirm the vcc/cc/address as it belonging to you. Simply adding a vcc/cc and entering then the expuse code does not verify a pp account (switch it from un-verified status to a verified status) in order for you to use it to sell on an auction site. But you can add a vcc/cc to an unverified pp account and confirm it (belonging to you).
EXAMPLE: Adding a vcc/cc to a pp, and confirming it, without adding bank account does not make it a verified pp account does it? But you do confirm the addition of a vcc/cc don't you?
So there IS a difference between confirming and verifying.
But if I'm wrong, and you can verify a pp account with a vcc/cc alone then please do tell me how you go about this protocol...

jeez this cant be still a debate I thought this had been cleared up.
I don't see why using either word to describe the process makes the process so confusing.

^^ No you are right in what you are saying, though the terms can be used universally with PP. Like they call it 'confirming your bank' etc
But I see what you mean. PayPal verified status, address confirmation etc
I does get confusing when people constantly use different terms for each. Although not for me and Imakemoney

I know it is the devils links but: https://www.paypal.com/uk/cgi-bin/we...md=_help&nav=5
For anyone else still confused, follow the link and click Managing My Account > Account Verification or Address Confirmation.
You will know it all after researching that!

@Superdude, I forgot to mention a technique I used to use, when I needed a quick land line for eBay and PayPal. I used to use local phone boxes :D
I just remembered this. I had a phone box outside my house once, I remember having to run out when I heard it ringing
I would only recommend it for a temporary use on any accounts if you cannot find free services or do not want to pay a penny. You could keep it on your accounts forever but you may not be in the phone box if eBay and PayPal tried phoning you for some reason

^^I did this years n years ago....except i had to cycle for 1 minute flat out to get to it. I did 3-4 trial runs before i press "call me in 2 minutes". Had it down to a military operation from running down the stairs, unlocking my bikelock to cycling to the phonebox lol....thank heavens for VOIP!

^ Yeah I personally would never do it again, VOIP and mobile phones all the way, I just used to use a phone box before I found out about stealth.
At the time a mobile phone couldn't be used with eBay, so I used a phone box, although many phone boxes in the UK do not have dial tones which when eBay asks you to press x number during verification it is not directly possilbe to do it.
So what I used to do was put a mobile phone up to the phone reciever and press the number that ebay asked for, it works. :D
Their is a chance that someone has used it but that can be the same for a lot of your stealth info, it is a combination of suspended details that is deadliest.
I would say just go for VOIP and mobile phones. Though if you want to create multiple eBay accounts and want a quick solution without paying anything, phone box would work

^^ I am using soho66, so PM if you do need any help, it is a good choice.
You can keep the numbers active for as long as you want, which you know is important for when PP or EB try to contact you.

yeah credit is used for any numbers you have active with soho
By the way I would say, top up £10 to be safe.
It is also £2 for each number every month. Not that expensive if you are going to be making some good cash with your multiple ebay accounts, you could pay the £2 off for each number in one sale
Also, soho66 offer an email to fax service at 7p a sheet, I have not tried this yet but it could be a good find for sending in docs to eb and pp.

Prior to reading the stealth guide I had 5 different ebay's going into 1 paypal - guess what ? Yep, they're dead now. From my understanding just have 2 max ebays going into 1 paypal, same details just a different ebay user name. That way you can spread your sales over the 2 eb accounts and if you receive any neg f/b you can lie low for a few weeks and transfer your sales to the other account.
Obviously, if you want more eb accounts you can repeat the process, open a NEW stealth pp a/c with a couple of eb a/c's and do the same but don't forget to follow all of the steps in the stealth guide.
Good luck .......... personally speaking, if you have existing pp and eb a/c's and you think they may be linked to any suspended info, phone number bank a/c etc then they will eventually die. I am now total stealth, I now from checking and double checking that none of my current a/c's are linked in any way to old, limited ones. | |

so did you have a few eb accounts in the same details,
e.g 3x eb account
same address
same name
same email & tel no etc
so i could open two eb accts in the same name & details & add to one pp account?
