It always amazes me when ebay requires more information, needs further authentication for verification etc.
I just wonder how quickly we would all be to freely supply all of this 'required' information if anyone gave any thought about
the fact that ebay contains quite possibly the most stored online accurate information than possibly any other source anywhere
including the government itself?
Although the government does hold information on virtually everyone to some extent the information that they hold does change
without update, making records for citizens only partially accurate.
eBay on the other hand holds information on a huge percentage of the population and because of their constantly new needs
further authentication for verification etc.
Actually hold more accurate information than quite possibly any other source anywhere.
Simply visiting their website actually could put permanent information onto your computer
that because eBay is eBay many times is not even recognized by spyware removing programs etc.
Actually, ebay is so powerful many new computers actually come equipped with ebay software of some type already installed.
Even after market software is many times now coming with eBay extensions.
So take a minute and think just how powerful is eBay?
and how much information about each of us is accurately stored at eBay?
Then it must be realized ebay is NOT bulletproof as they would have you think.
eBay and Pay Pal both appear complicated because typical users are only seeing the front of these services,
and are not generally computer hackers.
Both eBay and Pay Pal have back doors that allow reverse access to files.
and both services can actually be brought to their knees totally destroying both services in the process.
If you think you are faint of heart if / when you receive a limitation or suspension,
or eBay has a major rule change,
how would you feel if you awoke any given morning to find either of these services have been totally hacked by terrorism etc.
How many headlines would read something like eBay hacked your personal information is released!
In todays age of terrorism and world events.
I strongly urge everyone, Just how much of yourself do you really want out their?
For a mere Online Auction Service it is outrageous the information that we have allowed accessible.
Please give it some thought.
