I think what's happening is eb ay holds a meeting, and tells the reps to be a little more tollerant (cuz revenue's are slipping). "Be a little more tolerant" is interpreted differently by different reps. Thus, some let minor infractions slide, some are still very strict, and some are very relaxed. That's why we see policy being enforced differently.

I mean, it used to be that you never heard of accounts being reinstated....and now we hear of it, every now and then....but it never seems consistant.

I took the quiz to try to increase the selling limit. Very strange that ebay knows who I am for the stealth account that I just setup. All the questions that they asked were related to my suspended account. How the hell they know who I am as this is a stealth account with a total brand new address and IP address? Will this account get linked to my old account?

Even if it's old it still can have limits. If it's a 1 year old buyer account and you turn it in to a seller account and start selling it might have limits.

You must have done something wrong, cuz if it was "true stealth", they should know nothing factual.

There no difference either your accont is legit or stealth. I have legit account which is over 5 years, have 100 per cent good feedbck, on the electoral vote but still limit to 250 per month......B LL OOO DDD YYYY EBAY. they really mess us about. SICK OF IT:mad2:

deep down inside, i can feel ebay is trying to figure out who i am with my 1 1/2 year old stealth account but they have had no luck...still selling with 150 items or 7000 a month...don't seem to be raising it any higher though!

eB has a LOT of stuff to worry about rather than just who you are..unless your activity is dangerous
