Default eBay is pointless...

Created a new account a few days ago. Listed an item almost exactly the same as my competitor's as a "test." Within 5 minutes eBay bots red flag me for suspicious activity and ask me to call. So I give eBay a call.. after the stupid idiot fumbles around for a bit and asks me a few questions.. he puts the phone down. After literally yelling for a response, he picks the phone back up, says "there's a problem with your account," then hangs up the phone.

WTF?!?!?!

eBay has gone to ****. Most popular items on eBay are all VERO, so it's no wonder people are wanting to sell in those categories. It's become so difficult to create a new account that it's not even worth it.

Simple solution? Amazon.
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!

You cant just start selling items without making 1 stupid auction first. Make a decoy then make the vero one. This is how i do and it always works...keeping it that way just depends on the account some have amazing results some get shut down within the first 24hours usually once they last around 1-3days your account is ready to sell. 1item per account btw ONLY.

Thanks.

Just another example of how selling VERO items is not worth it. Find something else to sell or get a JOB. You got to be a pro to sell VERO and get a way with it these days.

You have to be willing to lose accounts left and right and just open new ones when it happens.

Well selling online will just be a hassle of a job then. There are rules for selling on and offline and if you dont want to follow them then you have to deal with the hassles that come with it. Those hassles are suspended accounts.

People say there is nothing to sell that isnt VERO. I have been selling full time for 13yrs on ebay and never had to sell a VERO item.

I tried it on one side account and got what you did, busted. Wasnt worth the hassle.

Ebay's the easiest for selling vero, Amazon is alot harder and alot of items you can't even sell there since you need to be approved.

I have been selling software on Amazon for over 1 year now and have never had a problem besides Amazon linking accounts. eBay just sucks nowadays. You guy's can say what you want, but eBay is losing it's seller base.

The more accounts that E-Bay and Amazon suspend the better, as far as I'm concerned. The "Barriers to entry" are real low on the web. The people that know how to open stealth accounts and keep them running, have a huge advantage over their competition.

Me too. I used to have about 15 major competitors. Now I have about 2-3. Even those have had bad feedback lately and are not TR accounts. maybe I will soon be alone in my niche. Fine by me.

eBay seems to be doing a lot of suspension-upon-listings lately, with a MC010 or MC049 wanting to verify your info.

you think ebay is pointless. Use another selling platform.

One less seller to hack me off
