Default Business Account Ebay is totally pointless?

Hi if i signed up for a business account via ebay and paypal. With ebay it asks who will be the person in charge of transactions in which you will need to give a name ( I cant give my actual name since i have been suspended previously) Can anyone here confirm when ebay request details (e.g. when you go over the paypal limit or something) from a business account will they ask for identification just based on the business or will they also require the person in charge of the transactions his/hers ID driver license etc aswell like with a normal individual suspension.

I highly doubt that they would because many ebay suspension ebooks saids this is the best method of creating a new identity on ebay, and if they also request details in regards to the person doing the transactions, then its 100% POINTLESS spending money, to create a DBA/LLC business name just to get back on Ebay, in comparison to creating a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ individual account.

It's probably best for you just to create accounts without a DBA, it seems like you don't want to do it anyway, and I doubt they'll help you in the way you're looking. Just my opinion.

Yeah but I would use a business account if i know ebay only requests details in regards to the business and not the individual thats doing the transactions. I would rather do this than any other way. I'm not selling illegal or counterfeit items like 98% of the people on this forum. So VERO wont be a problem.

Just to clear this up superpak, I very much doubt 98% of people on this forum sell counterfeit goods.

Maybe a good 50% or so...

I haven't heard of a person becoming suspended with a business account, so I don't know all the details of that, but EBay will most likely ask for business and personal details of the account.

The only way a DBA helps is to open new virtual addresses with it, bank accounts, credit cards, etc. You won't have an ID for business so eBay will still require a personal ID from you if you become limited. Do you need a DBA? No, you can create a successful eBay account without it.
