I am selling ( trying ) to sell my Switched on Schoolhouse cd's and I got my listing pulled. I understand in the user agreement it states no resell of this product is allowed.
So my question is what if I post that I will give it away free if some one buys something else from me. Is this type of listing allowed by Ebay?

That is dicey - while technically it is not allowed, you can do this - have to list carefully. I have not done this in awhile so no further comment - last time I did this was about 2 years ago.

Fine - I stand by what I said. They will know what you are doing if someone reports you and no matter what it may or may not say in the TOS if they think you are taking them for idiots they will get a little upset - but if you are confident? Well, it's your account.
I have yet to see anyone pull off this trick in over 7 years....We use to do it with oem products selling a hard drive with a copy of windows so on... then people started giving free items with the purchase of say a Book on how to use the software.... After a while they caught on to everyone and they could not legally say your "selling" the item but did shut people down for "distributing" these products. If they feel its vero/copied/⊗⊗⊗⊗ whatever they will close you based on "distribution" regulations ....
Although some products can and do get away with it if the product "makes sense" to be grouped with it. (ie the item your giving FREE is LESS than the cost of the item your auctioning... Liek they said above Ebay is NOT stupid....and they do not need ANY reason besides "because" to limit or shut you down. They have the God complex and about now with no other competitor coming close to them...they are quite the Monopoly.
