1/3 refunds means 2/3 didn't refund, with minimal costs involved I'd chaulk it up to cost of doing business and be happy with the 2/3. It's not like you're going out and buying new inventory lol

I've been having the same problem recently selling xbox live codes, however i don't take no as my customers know :) Will start to post items from now on and look into the classfied add.

only problem I can think of with classified myself is you can only know by testing and it isn't cheap- can't track others' success 1st, which is one great thing about ebay

Couldn't agree more with you, as there is no feedback left i simply do not know whether they are selling or not.

Just a quick eBay question...

When selling something that can be delivered by email (such as a code for Xbox live) is it against eBays rules to offer 'Digital Delivery'?

anonymous 08-31-2008 05:37 PM

Not if you use the classified ad format. The digital delivery for regular ebay listings was something ebay tried and decided against probably for liability concerns. If you do use email as delivery method, you may want a special email just for that, separate from your other emails. I only say that because yahoo did not take too kindly to me using their email accounts to send what were large files when I did that.

Thanks for the help :).

Only in the US. Any other eBay country does not allow DD, even on classified ads.
