Cool Ask for ID after Dollar amount?

My eBay Stealth is going fine so far. Only about 3 months old, couple hundred in sales $.
But is it inevitable that they will ask for my ID and Utility bill after 10 or 20k in sales?

I can never get around this :( Ideas?

First idea is to begin spreading your sales - what's keeping you from making new accounts?

I would not say inevitable but I don't have experience with this so any input from me = useless...as usual ha

I know im close to the 20k mark and i never got asked for id or ssn's or anything maybe it has something to do if u sell on ebay.

but if u can pull in close to 20k in one year i would get close and let it set and use another paypal till the years up then it restarts from 0

There is no definit answer. Several other factor are considered such as average transaction amount, item risk factor, and dispute percentages.

I dont sell anything risky and sell antiques and collectible items and still got the request for this way before 20k.

I was getting ready to let it sit and listed one more item and got it.

I think they look at the "potential" of you hitting that 20k mark myself.

Yeah HWGA also got asked awhile back he had a post about it. Im not sure what triggers it. some people can hit the 20k mark real quick like me it took me alomt a year to get there maybe that has something to do with it.
