Not that big a deal. Its still pretty cheap to have a CC/Debit card, be able to grab money on the fly from any ATM and not have to carry a lock box everywhere you go.

This is nothing. its like the thing where people bitch about spending 44 cents on a stamp. Go drive there and deliver it yourself and see how fast you pay that 44cents.

Just sayin..........................

I can see this causing them trouble and tons of customers.

With the economy being this bad most people cannot afford any more fees.

The backlash will hurt them and they will feel the pressure and hopefully cave.

Also, I see the feds maybe jumping in on this. I do not have the time to read it but maybe this was covered in the new credit card/debit/lending laws that was passed a while back.

Yeah, I can see both sides and ramifications either way but just think its the way the world is having to evolve in the internet age is all.

we will see though I guess. not much of a choice it sounds.

I said yesterday the feds will look into this and today one of the House members mentioned this will be looked into.

Why?

BOA got bailout money and they should not be allowed to hammer the same tax paying people who bailed their sorry butts out in the first place.

If they say it is to cover losses then they stole our bailout money and need to be shut down.

Anyone else sick of the people who got bailouts getting more and more money?

When one of us fail do we all get a free check to keep going? No we do not.

I think this is a very good opportunity for smalls banks to get new customers. At least if this goes into effect I will close my account with bank of America and move to the closest bank that does not have this fraudulent fee. I think a lot of people will do the same. People are getting tired of these banksters and their greedy friends. Have you seen the protest on wall street?

Ok so they say it's to cover losses or they need the money? yea right they are going to ICE 30,000 employees over the next year or so do you think that would free up some moo-la? and I can assure you that those people being laid off WILL NOT GET A SEVERANCE PACKAGE just an escort to the door with all 20+ years of faithful service in 1 small card board box.

Does the phrase SUCKER FISH come to mind.
