that wont deter scammers anyway they can still scam i dont even want to deal with these bumbs

I do not believe that all 0 ratings buyers are scammers... after all we all have to start somewhere:juggle:

yes thats true but if you see a user with 0 feedback just signed up for ebay within a week and bidding on or the high bidder on 4 iphone 4s phones thats EXTREMELY suspect

You just have to watch your auctions. One way I can think of is to add them to the blocked list, meaning that they can never bid again. Just search for "eBay Blocked List" and you'll find a link to where you can add them to the list. The list can go on to 5,000 so I think you'll have some rooms.

They would have had to open a paypal account and actually pay you, a lot of trouble if they are just competition looking to wreck auctions. Their paypal would not last long if they repeatedly do that or paid you with stolen CC, plus if they are 0 feedback you take payment and just never ship and then refund after package becomes "lost"

the way I look at it is, all those "new users" could be people like us who are well versed in ebay but got screwed for one reason or another and had to start over

hackteck 11-03-2011 08:23 PM

nah one of these 'new' users won my auction and he hasnt responded, paid or replied to any of my emails or ebay messages since he won the auction and this was 5 days ago and it just so happens that he signed up on the same day as the rest of the accounts i was trying to stop from bidding on my auctions i googled the address on his ebay account comes up on white pages but the name is totally different then anyone who lives in the household lol
