It happens to me too. Sometimes i get them back and my limit goes up and sometimes they count it as it being sold. I guess its determined by their mood.

I have had a total of 3 refunds on 2 accounts with 46 sales.

Two was because of the slow ass post office and one was because he just didn't want it.

Each was only 5.00 each so i just refunded and let them keep it. At this stage of the game, i don't need anyone giving me any negs.

I did not get them added to my monthly item limits even tho it clearly shows in my paypal that i refunded them for the item. I figure since E bay would have to refund my final value fee because of the refund i gave, it ain't worth the hassle for that little bit of $$. And NO, it don't happen automatically,(at least not for me)

I'm not going to call or message E bay about it because i don't even want them looking at me any more than they have too.

These two accounts are still very young and seem to be building up slowwwly. (but nicely) E bay only needs the smallest reason to cancel your ticket. Auctually they don't don't need any reason.

After working with these two for the last five months, i ain't going to ruffle no feathers.

Kinda part of the game i guess....

Good Luck

they count against your total no matter what. the only way you get the item back is if it ends with no bids. it sucks, but its been said before, open more accounts

I have done this a few times on some new accounts and it did not come off my total.

I dont think they are set up to change it or they do not want to change it so you can add the item back on.
