supplying an ebay/paypal untraceable address to a bank
Normally when you open a bank account you have to provide proof of identity and since you dont want ebay or paypal to know your real address how is it possible to supply an untraceable address?
You have to consider two points:
1. Whilst banks ask for proof of address when you open the account, once opened if you change your address they usually dont ask for proof. Why should they? They can always follow the trail back to the original address if necessary. They are not going to alter this just to suit Ebay. It would be chaos if it were otherwise. If u needed proof to change address, statements would be going to the wrong address whilst people were acquiring the proof.
2. Some banks, once you have opened your account allow you to have your statements sent to another address.
So you could have the registered address changed to a friends (which Ebay or Paypal will see) but have the statements sent to your actual address.
Or when you change your address alter your home address in such a way that it confuses the auto reader but has enough clues to allow the postman to know where to deliver it to. You could shorten the street names, miss out the vowels or produce funny malapropisms that are nevertheless understandable to the postman. Ebay though may have a spellcheck system that can cope with this but this is harder with place names and then it would be flagging up everything and the system would grind to a halt. If the address is different from the suspended account it might just be possible to have your real name provided you dont commit the same offences that got you slung off. There must be more than one person with the same name in a big city.
