Default Top Rated - Power Seller - How much leeway do I have?

Been a top rated power seller for about a month now. My account is about 5 years old with 300 plus Positive feedback and no neg. Selling DVD and Box Sets. Am I destined to get the ban hammer eventually? So far been really good with feedback and shipping in a timely manner.

Been mostly doing online auctions...but have listed a few BIN's.

Should I stop with the BIN and only do auctions...

Anyone else have a similar experience?

1 piece of advice. Never tell what you sell.

I've been under the impression that DVDs are a nono on eB@y.

I would've thought that mentioning DVDs would be fine considering I read about DVD sales all over the forum

Question for OP: Is BIN considered riskier than auctions?

I don't know if BIN are considered more risky or not. I have used a lot of auctions and now I am incorporating BIN. The one thing about BIN is that they can accumulate sales faster so it may send up red flags.

If anyone has any info on this issue let me know

If the box sets are from China good luck lasting more than a few months either way. I sold them through auctions to stay under the radar, BIN raise more attention, actually anything VERO with BIN raises more attention imo. You could last awhile though there are some DVD box sets that aren't policed at all and others will get you burned the first time you list.

It takes just one complaint or one negative feedback with mention of f@ke or copy and the account will get suspended or banned. Even if they are real. Also, if you have had the account longer then the banned will come quicker because you got away with it longer, If its towards the beginning then they will give you only a suspension. However having the account for longer means you should be much more aware of your product.

Get away from DVD... They are one of the highest on risk...

If you do BIN with DVDS, you have to do it slow like list have it available 2-3. I did see others list more then that so good luck to them.I also saw someone sold like 46 pieces of WD1.Seriously?
Stay away from your monthly limit, stay far far away from it.

Id do it buy it now, like new. That way you can open and inspect all your product(and hopefully keep your good FB score). Sell it like 1.50 lower than New price. This way you also dont have to compete back and forth with the New sellers.
