Default using LLC

if i create everything using an LLC feeding paypal the EIN and all info, does this mean the LLC is going to have to start tracking every dime and do taxes every 1/4?

I would love to know some input on LLC as well or S-corp. I also know it is simpler to pay taxes using LLC, but you save a good amount of money on taxes in an S-corp. However, with S-corp, you don't get as much on your SS so less when you retire from what I understand...however, I also have heard you can opt to file taxes as S-corp even if you have an LLC (more complications).

The above is the info I got when I spoke to a CPA in my area. This is no tax or legal forum of course, but input from experience folk would be awesome...especially on benefits being a registered company provides to selling on eBay.

I've been searching the forums...there is VERY little info on LLC or incorporation in USA and whether it helps with "less harassment" or more leniency. There have been many questions, but few responses...some people have went as far to give a tidbit but said they won't say anymore on a public forum...

Making assumptions, seems like a GOOD idea to incorporate.

Sorry for the third post but found this thread which has good info on it. Nothing about how helpful an LLC in regards to hassles and limits.

hmm after some reading around here it doesn't really seem like there is much, if any advantage to going the LLC route.

Anyone have another view?

What little information that you can find usually will tell you that it is a lot of work and little reward. And more than one person here has claimed that PP checked the name AND address registered to the LLC and if they don't match, they close your account.

I don't see any real advantage to this.

I would say for short term stealth, waste of time. Long term legit, only way to do it.

Anybody want to chime in on this? I'm also wondering if I should go LLC or stealth. OR
LLC and multiple stealths.. would that be a good idea?

Your confusing the terms stealth and LLC

Stealth is just a term used to hide our identity from ebay to get back selling after suspension. we spread the sales out to avoid getting hit with 1099 which as a result ebay can ask for our SS# and get our idendity

That being said stealth is in no way a operation to avoid paying taxes this is something we all need to do and discuss with a CPA . We are just avoiding anything that would cause ebay to dig for our true identity .

Now if we have multiple accounts but still would want that one account to sell more on we than incorporate and get an EIN. But when we form the LLC we still need to use our stealth details. The LLC. Needs to match our stealth name and address.

It is very common for business to use a fictitious name to operate under which will be STEALTH NAME LLC. at 1234 STEALTH ADDRESS RD

So all stealth is legit , and you should operate with many accounts so that if one gets shut down you have many more operating,, you don't ever want to be totally shut down at least I don't want to have my entire business shut down ever again so I keep creating accounts every month and rotate them
