i am still new here but i just hung up with a ebay rep regarding my limits... they did not have a problem raising it since i have "exceeded ebays expectations"

i dont know if this makes a difference but i sell pet supplies that have expired or are outdated, the rep did not ask for any statements which i had prepped for :noidea:

It's not being a member for 3 months, it's 3 months since your first sale and the limits start to increase the NEXT month.

So if you registered December 6th 2011, first sold on December 10th 2011, you would hit 3 months on March 10th 2012 and your selling limits will start to increase on April 2012.

Call question
 

I have to call eBay every month when trying to increase my limits. When you call eBay you have a great chance to get your limits almost more than doubled.

The questions they ask the first time you call are, if you want this eBay business to be your full-time business, if you have any cases or issues with buyers, they also ask if you have anyone managing your account besides you to answer buyer questions. These are some questions that they'll throw at you once they have identified you as the original owner of the account.

They'll ask name, address, telephone number, DOB.

Once you answer everything correctly, they'll jump your limits. Then it's just communication game, how well or how convincing and auspicious you sound. Accordingly they'll lift you up.

You can get your limits raised by phoning Alan at eBay Dublin on +353 1 243 2573. He is very helpful if you state your case clearly and concisely.

I've never noticed my limits going up automatically. They only go up if I sell a certain amount. I'm currently a powerseller and my limits are stuck at $1900 a month, and it won't go up any higher. Powerseller status has it's privileges!! lol.
