I know many who sold over 300,000 doing this and ended up making 100-150k profit at years end.
I have some products that I make 2-3 dollars on but sell hundreds a week easily. Toss into a padded bag and go.
OP- I have been on ebay and researching, watching buyers and sellers, trends etc for almost 15 years and still today have to move in and out of niche products all the time.
One week wont get you anything but frustrated.
I sell a lot of items in a highly competitive market and I sell far more then the heavy hitters because of my description, pictures, guarantees etc.
I also know of a man who sold 300k worth of box lot yard sale crap last year and I believe he said he made 100k at years end. And that is selling crap.
You are NOT going to make 3-4-5 times your money much anymore so you will have to rely on selling massive amounts of items at a lower profit per item. In the end you will get back to what you want.
Then again some people want to put in little effort and get big gains. Not going to happen anymore. It takes a lot of time, work, effort, research etc to stay on top. If you are not willing to do all of these things and more you might as well quit now because others will do this.
