do alerts expire?

well i got like 5 alerts on my ebay account. here they are

MC019 eBay Listing Removed: Copyright Violation - Unauthorised Listing Content
MC019 eBay Listing Removed: Trademark Violation - Unauthorised Item
MC019 eBay listing removed: Trademark Violation - Unauthorised Item
MC143 TKO NOTICE: eBay Listing(s) Removed
MC018 eBay Listing Removed: Keyword Spamming

im just wondering if they expire?? because they do have an expire date on each of these alerts. because i don't wanna get suspend due to sh!t loads of alerts....

and yes i am selling vero items if anyone is asking.... g@y vero thing screwed so many businesses in china and all over the world....

hi:usually 30 days is avg, they do expire-but even though the alerts go away--they stay on your permanent record at ebay..

jscan 05-24-2008 01:27 AM

your probably one alert away from being suspended, thats quite alot?

Slavaja 05-24-2008 08:17 AM

well i got even more before but they expired.... like a total of 7 or 8. i reakon i got alot of luck when it comes to alerts. on my main ebay account i got like 10 alerts before i got suspended and like 5 of them were like really srs ones

if i have 2 of the same kind of violations and get a tuturial, say copyrights, and it expires in 90 days. does that mean i can violate again after 90 days without geting suspensed immediately?

if not then it means it does not expire at all. anyone has been doing these long enough to know?

Looks like 3 months if the time period for expiration on MC019 and Vero infractions. Got one in January, didn't expire until April, got another on another account in March and it expires in June. Don' t know if it ever gets wiped from your total record.

Feedback /false positive .. may be a year i am still at Medium on Policy Compliance from last June.

It never gets wiped out! Once they flag you..they will watch you whenever you list and you may be limited for a long time how much and what you can sell... I know, it is terrible, specially when you get unjustified MC019.

good to know Lyda, so even letting them cool for the expiration period will not be any good, may as well go ahead and try listing on them and just taking it slow.

Although they never completly leave your account, you should still let the account rest for at least a month if you want it to last. Otherwise it is more then likely going to be suspended very soon.

I posted a thread on this ..1 year is a big nunber an dthey have trouble getting history after that - as i had a vero member contact ebay a year later to remove the vero strike off my account and ebay said they couldnt as it had been to long and no longer affested my account ..so ,who knows

I got hit with 2 MC019 on one of my accounts some time ago. I waited 3 months, and they got wiped. I am now selling more then before for a couple of months now and everything is dandy. You just have to wait it out and use other accounts.
