Please excuse my ignorance ...

But what does it mean ?

I know very little about BUY IT NOW option because I mostly sell auction style. Anyways for example when I view completed eBay listings I see for example an item ended at 100$ for BUY IT NOW but when I click inside the listing it shows that there were 200 items of the same type sold between may and July but each item sold for 20$. So now I am confused, why does it show 100$ then ?

The sales prices were changed from the initial price by the seller before the listing was ended.
