When to add Tracking Number?
 

Hey,

I am selling just a few items on eBay, but I wanna know if it's really necessary to add tracking info?

I have the tracking info, but would eBay/PayPal accept it when I only provide it when I get a dispute for extra evidence?

I would add it right away when u ship it, I do not know if you have the holds on the funds, but it is easy to get money released earlier if the tracking is already in there. It also helps you in disputes if it was uploaded at the time of the transaction and not at last minute.

Why would you not want to upload it?

Since you are international, you have to stay on the ball and keep things speedy. Withholding tracking, you will just create unwanted issues with buyers wondering if something was shipped or not and filing/opening disputes.

I personally add it right away (If I have the 21 day holds on an account)
Or 2 days after they have paid (If there are no holds)

They (ebay/paypal) will not care if you need evidence against a scamming buyer. But, just be sure to keep your records should you need to get outside help.

Alright, my funds or not on holds and in fact I already withdrew to my bank account.

But I guess I will just add the tracking straight away after I get paid for my products.
