This is my experience,
I've opened 4 accounts, have credit card verified, added banks. It's all okie and with 10/$500 limit.
I've opened another one. This time it was a bit different. I first added bank, then put credit card on file. Then I see I don't have any limit for selling cheap things. But I still have some category limit. So far I can list over 100 items. I have already had more than 50+ items sold within 2 weeks.

i was asking the same question about inkfrog the other day but nobody answered. it does not offer email communication with buyer option right? so managing means just listing? how about emailing and shipping? thank you!

So, I see how lucky I was to get this account. Now, I have other people inquiring and one person, a close friend really needs it, he has a warehouse full of inventory he needs to move quickly. Could you guys chime in on your experiences? Maybe there is a connection and we can figure this out.

I opened my ebay account at 3am EST but then waited 4 days to open the sellers account, around 11pm EST using cc to open paypal and voila, no limit account. Anyone else?

Just created one yesterday, I got 10/1000 on a business account. Will see how it goes for my upcoming 3 accounts. I will keep you posted, just waiting for my routers to arrive.

I wish I had a friend that worked for ebay!

Lately all the new accounts that I made are getting 10/$1,000 rather than the 10/$500 I use to get. I do have one with no selling limits out of all the accounts I currently have.

I have a few unlimited accounts still trying to figure out what i did differently

I think the main factors we should pay attention is TIME;LOCATION AND IP

There is very simple ways of getting accounts without limits... Keep on experimenting and you will get it eventually. Then please do not share as it will ruin it...

Personally I prefer accounts with limits... Lets me know exactly where ebay wants me to be....

Always worth remembering that accounts can have limits placed on later...

right

let me clarify this

its not guesswork or theory

its fact

from lessons learned and mistakes made

i sometimes create "no limit" accounts

ive listed on them quickly and hard

they WILL get limits quite soon

on the other side they DO get higher limits than new accounts created with limits 10 or 25

from unlimited to 150 or 350

some might say thats a bad thing

but think about it

trust me on this

the way to go is slow and steady

You may have something there. I opened 5 account the last 6 mos. and
2 had 5000/100
2 had 1000/10
1 had 500/10

I wish I could remember what I listed 1st. I know it was something I had around that I wanted to sell and not my revenue items. Interesting though.
Somewhere on here it said they were checking credit reports but the 2 high limit ones I know had bad credit reports.

Are these the same accounts that you recently lost?

If so it explains as above that you can get these higher numbers but then list a risky item or do something wrong and down it goes with smaller limits or the pp will get limited.

Which I believe is your case correct?

1 had 500/10 => A real stealth information that eBay CAN'T find in the public record. (this type of account when you click the request higher selling limit, eBay will ask to call)

This info is only in my experience and they could be wrong.

Default How can I see the limit?

hey everyone, maybe a silly question but how and where on the ebay page do you see what the limit is? Does it say somewhere or you have to try it out by listing items? Thanks!
