Default Buyer buying too many things?

Hello

Today i have had a buyer that has bought 16 items total, of which 12 are the same or have similar color/style. :S

And she is still bidding on another item.

Should i ship? Or say i ship and then claim items are lost and refund her? Or just refund her and don't ship? She has allready paid.

I am slightly worried that she might defraud me or might be a competitor.. What can she do? I obviously am only going to ship with DHL shipping which she has to sign for.

And i am also considering calling her to find out who i am dealing with..Any input on this?

How much feedback does this person have? The possibilities are endless, I would suggest you Ship the Items, include some insurance and tracking. If it does turn out that she is a competitor you can always file a complaint if the buyer gives grief.

Just a quick question, the items you are selling...are they authentic?

Examine their feedback carefully. See if there are any clues.

Go with your own feelings.

Communicate with the buyer.

Check out their story. There's a remote chance they might be buying items as presents/
(yeah, remote but....).

16 items with DHL shipping is going to be costly,no? Are you offering any sort of discount for combining postage?

Please avoid harming your account by shipping then making up a story of the parcel being lost. That is counter-productive in the long term.

As MM78 asked, if the items are *coughs* special, then I would be looking to cancel

Bear in mind, any action you take is to safeguard your account especially with the big selling season coming.

Good Luck

Thanks for your input MM78 and Greenbean. Really appreciate being able to talk about this with you guys/gals.

I can see that she hasn't bought anything for a while..

But from looking her name up i have found her facebookprofile which tells me she has opened a clothing store in 2011, but since i don't see any name or link to it.. i think she is only in the process of starting out.. and might have bought my items to resell, since my prices are low.

I have sent her an email asking her to confirm that she really wants all the items..

Shipping with DHL will cost me and i will not make any profit on this sale, but i'd rather do that then risking her to be unhappy in any way..

Anytime , one never knows this person could potentially be a bigger buyer which in return can be a benefit for you.

Nice research - work with her lightly and dont forget your other customers

Thanks.. i think there's a way to block buyers from buying this many items at once so i will look into maybe not letting it happen again as i am a small seller and a buyer like this can ruin a whole account..

I'll let you know how this order ends.
