Default Quick Warning..looks like Ebays is calling people

In the past hour I had eBay call the number attached to my only TRS account and my 2nd highest rated account.

I was lucky that last month I attached a good flynumber.com call forwarding number to both of them. They just wanted to say "watsup bro, how are the sales going". Only sent 3 minutes on the phone with them.

For the female named account, I told them "sorry, she is with the baby right now but she'll be done in about 20 minutes". They laughed for a sec., said "don't worry", and hung up.

They might just be checking up on some high end accounts for the Christmas season.

Good to know. So I can get a flynumber and foward a bunch of numbers to my cell? And it only costs per min? I quickly read over it...

You can use what ever call forwarding service you want, but that is what I use. It works for me and might not work for others.

It was just a warning for some who have high limit accounts going into the holiday season.

I used flynumber and it got me linked to someone else's account. That's the issue with all those services. If someone used number and now it's yours , they will link it to their account ...

I couldn't agree more with stanislav.

I used to use a free service that does the same thing in the UK, and then on some of them got MC999 "judging from account info, it looks like your account is associated with... [insert random username that I have never seen before]" messages.

Just a get a new SIM card for a mobile phone and then you can be sure that you are 100% safe.

Exactly man... I got associated with some account that wasn't even mine. Got MC999.
They reduced from 30/2000$ to 10/1000$. I sold 10 items then next month called and was able to convince them to up it a bit.

They did to 50 items/2500$ but once I sold all 50 I got MC011.

Now they are asking for documents and invoices ...

I also had a phone call about 2 months ago. I knew it was Ebay on caller ID, so I answered it. The Ebay Rep was very courtious and wanted to know how 'they' could help in my sales and if I had any questions to answer.
I BS'd for a few minutes to at least let them know that I was who I said on my account and made up a couple of bogus questions and at the end of the conversation, they seemed happy and we all parted ways.

Take nothing for granted...if you answer the phone just once to acknowledge who you are on your ebay account then maybe you'll get the green light to survive one more day.

I know they call people but twice in 1 week. I've heard they increase their calls during this of year but i think twice in a week is nuts.

And I wish I was able to get the call in time.

I had a number I planned on using on ebay and didn't even use it yet and got voice mail stating that I will have 21 day holds from paypal.... So I'm guessing I should dump that number?

If ebay calls one of the phone numbers that I have forwarded to my real number, I just tell them "she/he is in the bathroom or working". The bathroom works the best and funnier.

Just say "I'm sorry she/he had some Mexican food a few hours ago and will be in there for some time". They get a laugh and say "dont worry".

My forwarding service allows me to assign each stealth number a caller id name. If the call is coming in for stealth account "John Doe", it says John Doe on my caller id.
