ebay buyer rant.

so i have my first stealth acct up and running. so far so good and I get an message from a buyer that he wants a refund. Says my items is a cheap chinese knock off, my listing says its generic and has a no name brand. He says he wants to resolve without going to the buyer protection plan. But, 5 minutes later is a message from ebay with his BP claim.

I emailed back saying I'm happy to resolve. Asked him to ship it back to the return address on the box. Said I would reimburse his full cost plus shipping back to me.
I am 1) hoping he doesnt raise the alarm with ebay about the address and 2) give negative feedback.

Any other suggestions on how to proceed.

Odds are he will give negative feedback, as anytime a resolution doesn't go 100% in their favor they are just ruthless. My advice...refund buyer, let them keep it (if item is cheap) and move on. New account, you dont want a quick neg.

as a follow up to the above. I see in the case, a can issue a RMA and use an alternate return address. I assume that could be used to link to an old address.

You may want to find a new solution, because I am sure you are going to have returns/exchanges in the future, as well as purchases you may want to make. There are several legit legal and affordable ways to have a physical address. You may want to look into it.

AStealth is likely thinking that a new account should have had an accessible postal address in the 1st place.

It's poor stealth practise to not have an accessible address.

Mom & Pop posts places, PO Boxes, all choices to make sure you are covered for returns.

There are some things essential for (stealth) accounts:

working phone numbers
accessible addresses
