eBay is helping reduce new-account fraud through stronger verification of new sellers, including phone verification during seller registration or verification through Live Chat. After their first few listings or for high value listings, new sellers may also be required to be PayPalTM Verified.

Yep thats what the ebay web page said. Probably the people who own really big companies are getting those types of amount.

A little birdy told me in 2011 it's DNA swabs for every seller.


Heck, that's only 10 or 12 used mercedes a month.

6 SIMPLE steps to complete eBay seller verification:

1. Confirm that your address is correct.
2. eBay will send you a cotton swab within the next 7 days.
3. Once you receive your eBay cotton swab, remove it from the packaging.
4. Swipe the cotton swab through your ass crack 2 or 3 times, until the color changes to brown.

(NOTE: If the color does not change after the 3rd swipe, the cotton swab will automatically lock itself and you will need to request another cotton swab.)

6. Return the cotton swab, along with your original passport (copies are not accepted), your marriage certificate (get married if you don't have one) and your first born child to eBay.

You're done! Thank you for becoming a verified eBay seller! :D

eBay says in #27 it will be changing listings so that Javascript and flash will be removed.

That means no javascript disabling of the right mouse button to annoy potential customers. And no flash in the listing to help sell the products.

In auctiva when you set it to not include its flash banner, auctiva says it needs that to generate revenue for its site or it could start charging. Auctiva won't like ebay removing flash from listings, but ebay may make an exception for flash from its authorized developer sites.
