I've have this account for a while, was Top Rated Power Seller a while back but due to being busy in exams and other life issues I stopped selling as much for a little while. Due to lesser transactions I lost my Top Rated Seller rating and lost my 20% fee discount as well although I've been a Power Seller throughout.

Now I've been selling steadily for the past month and today I got an email from Ebay that I've achieved the Global Top Rated Seller rating :thumb:

However, I don't see any discounts being mentioned in my Seller Dashboard, it still says 0% there, so what's going on?

Will the discount take effect from my next invoice, it says I'm on track for my next invoice date Jan 20, 2013, but doesn't show any discount.

Please shed some light, thanks!

Same thing happened to me but the discount showed the following month.

The discount will be applied on the next invoice.

Another question is that if I don't offer a return/money back option for my listings, would that effect my Top Rated status or discount?

I believe you need to put a 14 day money back return.

Just do it anyways, ebay buyers can return stuff even when you post "no returns accepted". So might as well do it and qualify for your 20% discount and higher searches. Those 2 benefits will more than add to the return stuff. Your sales will increase and average selling price will increase on your items.

I assume this account is based in the US, even though you're in Pakistan? Because Pakistani (or any other country) accounts do not qualify for Top Rated Discounts, only US accounts do.

Does not matter whether you offer it or NOT - eB still requires you to accept returns...and they will enforce it if buyers complain :(

UK has TRS Discounts
And a minimum 7 day returns policy unlike the US 14 day
