| | | imjustme | 01-01-2013 11:38 AM | Yeah, the inbox is indeed bursting, but I have to dissapoint everyone, there's no magic involved here. It was just crazy to see an increase like that for no reason - and I mean for no reason. I never contact eBay to increase my limits and let them increase naturally. |
imjustme has years of experience - a lot of hard work and dedication to the process so...yeah folx have to respect and appreciate :thumb: |
| imjustme | 01-01-2013 05:44 PM | Perhaps sometimes doing less is worth more. I was never a big supporter of contacting eBay every few weeks to ask for your limits to be increased. The less visible you are to eBay the better. |
| 17anton17 | 01-01-2013 11:22 PM | Surprisingly, after I saw this I went onto my account and after 4 months of solid selling, 100% percent feedback, I finally got an increase from 10 to 30, which I am through the roof about for my first stealthers which are finally starting to grow. I listened to everyone in the forum and let them grow naturally and it is already paying off. Thanks again to everyone for helping, could not have done it without everyone :) |
| boltactionz | 01-05-2013 10:21 PM | OK, I am at a loss. You guys are experts, so please help me. Please tell me where to look to find out what my selling limits are. I have looked and so far have not found it.
And congrats to the big winner with the mega-increase! |
So agree Quote:

I see a different angle... As much as we like to think OP has some mystical powers (and yet he might:hail:), I think this has something to do with eb trying to grease the skids for more selling activity. Seems to me they have tightened the screws so much last few months - now their bean-counters are telling them they need more listings to drive sales up again. Hence, raising limits as quickly as possible on low-risk accounts. As they say, `follow the money`... | I so agree, I think they are getting shot with their own weapon. I sure hope I will be on the list of the low-risk accounts and get some limits raised. |

And congrats to the big winner with the mega-increase! | Go to my eBay and go to SELLING, then ALL SELLING, then when that displays on the top of your current/active auctions you will see your limits. if you dont have any, that is great :-) |
| Sandy D | 01-06-2013 03:32 AM | Just checked on my real account as I was leaving it sit a bit and got an nice increase from 2,500 items and 30,000 to 3,500 and 40,000.
Biggest jump I think I can remember ever getting at one time. |
| imjustme | 01-06-2013 04:27 AM | I should probably mention that this account sells only no-risk items. They're all custom made / handmade items that are not branded in any way. |
| GhostWhoWalks | 01-06-2013 10:43 AM | I had 295 auctions up with 5,000 items in stock for each and a total of $5.1 million limit. but I could add as many as I would like. I am going to start reposting them tonight or tomorrow.
I guess it really depends on what country you do it from. If you are in a poor country you'll get limits due to fraud. If you come from a good country there are no limits as you are richer! lol. :humble:
Oh and just for the record! I use to have that 100 limit items thing! It's crap! I even called in once cause I had spent like $2,500 for all my stuff to resell and then I see this limit. So I had called up ebay and got it raised once they seen I had given pp all the proper stuff! (they even asked me if I had enough products to sell everything since I had high amounts per auction and I just explained too them). So yeah! They either see you as a business man or some scammer loser dude!
Don't be scared call up EBay! I had one client open up a case in Australia after 4 days claiming he didn't get his package yet! Dude USA to Australia takes a month! You know PP closed the case in my favor! I just tell them straight up, I sell $1000's a month why would I scam someone for a $30 item???
I let them know that the buyer is new and could be a scammer! lol. |

And congrats to the big winner with the mega-increase! | If you have listed your first or second item your limits will be right in front of you at the top.
Unless you got lucky and have no selling limits. |
