Default Do you leave the buyer immediate feedback after payment?

I was just wondering what the standard is. I used to leave positive feedback for the buyer immediately after the payed me. But recently I have had a lot of member not leave me any feedback, so I have been waiting. I leave them feedback, once they leave me feedback.

Just wanted to know how most here do it?

I leave feedback right away, your tactic does not work anymore. You will just piss off the buyer and risk a negative.

That has not been my experience. I have always done what the OP suggested. I send the buyer a very charming note and they either leave +FB or nothing. If after too long I do just leave them +FB and drop it. My profit is not by volume so I need every + FB I can get and sometimes need a little proding.

Speaking of feedback,
Today a buyer left me a negative. That same buyer gave me 5 stars and said "Thank you".

Errrrrr.

i always leave feedback as i ship the item. not leaving it just gives a customer another reason to get pissed. i want to try and reduce those reasons. have even had some compliments from customers regarding me leaving it so quickly.

I leave feedback once feedback is received. I do not have that much inventory so I can do more quality control on my accounts feedback.

If they send an email asking for feedback, I tell them that my system gives automatic feedback once positive feedback is left and sends me an email if there are any issues that I can try to resolve(the last part is impossible I know. but it helps.)

I tend to go over the transaction with a comb to see if there are any potential issues afterwards.

Just me though

I only give feedback once i have received feedback.

I have done this ever since i read a forum post a long while back saying
''feedback is the only leverage we have against a buyer & that we shouldn't give it away so easily''
(or something to that effect) but it makes a good point and i intend to stick to this.

May have been true in the good old days when negative feedback could be left for a buyer.

Actually i disagree, but not entirely.

There are however buyers out there who also like to receive feedback.

I was one of these buyers, so I can vouch for this.

I always wait till I receive it first, However, after reading this i thought what the heck, I left feedback to about 80 people... 1 hour later i got 7 in return.. Looks like there are buyers who wait for sellers to leave it first.

Guess ill be dropping feedback to everyone after payment...
