I just updated it a few days ago. I don't think that would haven anything to do with it. It comes from the PP account that the buyer paid on.

I really don't want to call and that's what I had to do the last time on different eb account.

I was able to remedy though when I was done checking out it asked if I wanted to link a different card. So I took a shot and linked to a new debit card that I was saving to use for something like this and all it asked for was card number. No name or address or anything like when you try to add a card. Nice to know if you want to ad a card and not have to verify all that stuff.

posted this earlier in the subscribed section, but the answer applies to you to, so here ya go:

With ebay shipping you can check mark the box that says "pay later - usually after funds clear".

For new accounts, print the label through ebay, sign up for automatic shipping bill payment through paypal, it will decline the payment because you don't have the funds. Then go to print the label again and on the bottom right side, you will see the option for either pay now, or pay later. Choose the pay later, and you can ship as many items as you need and it will deduct the funds after they clear.

You have to do it in this order because it doesn't give you the pay later option until after you sign up through paypal.

All my accounts have this option so far and I am using it.
Let try relink your eb account to pp account for seller fee payment.

Thanks Don C. I am glad you understood my question. I think MM78 is drinking on St. Patty's day. I have not had a drink in over 25 years.

I just copied and paste below from eb. and that's what i don't want backup used. I will try to call from work. The last time this happened I had to call and wanted to avoid that.

To automatically use your PayPal account to pay for shipping labels, you need to have a credit / bank card on PayPal as a backup funding method. Your PayPal balance will be used for the label cost. If your PayPal balance doesn't cover the label cost, then the backup funding method will be charged.
