just re-list the item, not worth it to try to convince the buyers to pay, takes up your time and they will be more aggrevated and therefore more inclined to leave neg feedback

If the buyer does not keep me aware of the reason for delay in payment, I open NPB in 5-7 days automatically - if the NPB goes through, I add the buyer to blocked bidder's list and move on in life

I think I was mistaken and confused that with the new changes about best offer items still being available for purchase until payment is received.

Not a worry.

yeppppppppp, nothing seems to help though, 5 10% every single week like clockwork, try blocking, try adding buyer requirements, .... seems to be a never ending line of non-paying buyers ready to BID BID BID.

the fact that eb4y has an automated tool for opening cases on people that don't pay for you should speak for itself. :doh:

people with feedback...people with no feedback.... it follows no pattern.

BE NICE, I am always the nicest person in the world on ebay I work too hard to create my accounts and build them up to let some dummy who is non payer, uses wrong address all that ope an opportunity to ruin one of my accounts. look you can cancel transaction first if buyer does not respond than non payment to avoid fees but if you jump the gun and open a case against buyer and they pay now they can leave feedback any feedback they want. yes it is not your fault someone does not pay but why risk the accounts? My accounts are more valuable than a 2 dollar credit from ebay for fees. BE NICE even though sometimes other ebayers are idiots!

Sadly, no real protective measures there - unless you spread auctions around different accounts, different listings
