Default How Are Your Sales This Month?

Hello Everyone,

I put in a lot of hours into eBay. Merely my choice, not by force and the past a few months it was rewarding. However this month has been a total bust. What is going on with eBay? Did people not get enough tax refunds this year? Sales seem to be non-existent. I remember in February and March, I used to transfer out of Paypal every night. Sales are so slow, I don't even bother checking Paypal.

If that's not discouraging, I've been hit with all sorts of buyers with exceptional demands with their purchases lately. Remorse returns, picky buyers, you name it.... Anyone else feeling it as well?

Actually, it's the exact same for me.

I hope that it's just the week of tax due.
But about the kind of buyers you are mentioning... yes, I have a bunch of those too.
They tend to come out around summer honestly though, so this is rather early for Troll buyers to hit us based on my records.

Yup sales are slow. I bet it is the tax refunds.

when people don't have much money, but then want to still buy, a lot of them will have remorse and deliberately be more of a pain.

Depending on what you are selling would determine your traffic. I have found that during the latter part of April, sales are slow for disposable or extra items. But still steady for what consumers consider needed items.

Slow the first week but today I see green all over my accounts.

People must have got their tax returns back because I sold some very high end antiques over the weekend.

Could you please make a list of all products you sell, your user ids and passwords -- RSOT

Thanks.

This weekend has been very quite and normally the weekends are good to me.

About 70% down on last weekend!

Doesn't help I have half my accounts that have run out of selling limit, could be the reason..?

Great to know I'm not the only one. Seems like unless you aren't offering the lowest price, you are looking at a dead store. Not to mention, everyone opening up cases which is what I hate waking up to in the mornings when checking eMails.

Computer parts are doing very good for me this month, expect for SSDs. The prices on those seem to have collapsed. Took a small lose on those.

Good thing I picked up a dozen desktops to pick out the parts.

Hit and miss here - some items still selling regularly, some dropped off - trying to revamp some things for summer time anyhow.

Usual for this time of year.

Doing a change of items for all sites. (seasonal requirements).

Luckily return buyers are helping.

According to notes, May should see better sales for USA

Not sure what items you doing there? If you sell chinese made items. There is a reason why you have high sale numbers in FEB and MARCH.this due to the chinese new year holiday.most chinese sellers close their shop on early FEB and return late March.During this time,US local sellers will get a bump of sales.but once they back at late march with cheaper price, your buyers will came back to them.

I sell a luxury fashion accessory item and sales have reached $1k limit on both new accts. Have another very new and not trying to push it. I am very pleased. I was slow in Jan. I do think people are being a little picky though. Had one buyer start asking ? after he buys and then asks ? that are clearly stated in the listing. Gotta be nice though and thank them for the inquiry when I wanna say WTF can't you read? Did I go to the trouble to put the exact info you are asking about in the listing?
