Calling before listing is no insurance at all.

In my naive time before hard core stealth, I called to get my limit increased. Person was really nice and increased my limits.

I was MC999 a couple of hours later for linked account. Raising my limits triggered something.

Just imagine a giant evil monster robot inside eBay yelling at the customer representatives "YOU RAISED A LIMIT ?!?! NEXT TIME IT IS YOUR JOB THAT WILL GET MC999ed"

OP, I am happy for your experience but feel it would take a "silver tongued slick as hell devil" to pull off. But I am actually thinking of calling and play way stoopid and see if they will even help me set up the acct. from scratch and create a listing.
