Buyer Dispute - How To Resolve?

Hi, I sold a TV @ eBay for $750 & late to ship. Meantime, buyer made a dispute & I was able to add tracking with signature requirement on resolution center. However even after 3 days buyer has not closed the dispute neither eBay.

How lomh will it take to close that dispute?
Is it risky to escalate to eBay team? They say they respond within 48 hours

Note: Its not USA eBay, However I sold on eBay.com with stealth info. Contact details are ⊗⊗⊗⊗.

Please advice me to resolve this issue. Funds are on hold in PayPal

Has the buyer received the item?

Yes, Tracking says its delivered

If buyer does not escalate

the dispute will be closed by eBay. It takes longer than 3 days though.

It depends. A case like this has to be manually reviewed. Could take 24 hours could take a week

Another dispute?

Hope you have covered yourself carefully here

Sounds messy. What happened you managed to be late to ship an item worth $750????

Expand on this

danshan 06-21-2013 07:08 PM

if buyer open an dispute and doesn't respond after that it can take up to 30 days in my experience unless you escalate the case to ebay team. To risky though some times.

You are playing $750 'death warrant' here mate???? Why? Why? Why?

:nono: Didn't I told you to stay away from that XBOX/PS3 GAMES!!

PayPal hold has been lifted about after 7 days of submitting tracking info. However buyer has still not closed the dispute on eBay. I'm wondering why

It will close out naturally if buyer takes no action

Two options.

Buyer is not going to reply so it will close out naturally.

Buyer may be about to dispute inr if anything went wrong with the tracking.

Let it be Option 1
