Default International limits

Hello

I am listing new items on one US account that has 100/$5000 limits.

I have just noticed that I cannot list more than 10 items internationally (I have not made any sales on that account yet).

Is it a new rule? How do you get around it?

thx
J.

Only way to increase is to prove you are a trust worthy seller

Do we know when the international sale limit is lifted?

Is it after 10 successful sales international? Or does it take 90 days like other limits?

It probably varies on individual account basis. I have had accounts increase after few weeks and some 3,4,5 months so no set pattern

Very difficult to predict - I have had international sale limits that have not budged in 6 months+ as a reference point.

ebay is merely playing with its sellers.

What's your feedback for the international listings and have you an attached paypal account?

The eb stealth Us account has over 10 buyer feedback and has paypal account.

I have never sold on that account yet. I was able to list 10 international item but i hit the limit.

I can list more in the us.

I am surprised about that new limit. I hope ebay is not going to force sellers to use their new global shipping service down the road.

Also make a conscientious decision on WHAT countries you ship too - I would suggest avoiding some places that are known for defrauding the seller (unless you know the buyer well of course, etc)

I sincerely hope not..or at least make the fees/% cuts more reasonable to use them....would be a good option then

all ebay mc999 drama started with international.

I was doing great selling international and then the stupid DSR requierements came in 2008 but they where not tuned to international shipping very well.

I started getting low dsr on shipping, got 1 mc999 and everything down hill from there.

My latest mc999 are related to that stupid account 5y ago even if all my dsr are great now.

Stealth is the way around their stupidity.
