Here's a clue.
Warehouse is not what you want.
There is another term that will give you a clue.

Most of you are posting for the lulz. It's all good though..
The reason I bring this up is because I've heard about it enough to arouse suspicion. There also have been occasion(s) where we haven't received our returns after an account has been suspended; the packages simply disappear. Together, eBay / Paypal are already into shady practices, so I'm curious. May be an office, but I've heard of a rented "warehouse" location with a security gate (or rather someone on this forum which was within' miles of it). From what I've heard, they just hold the items in that location for a long time; never heard of them moving anything.
This may have been a practice years ago and non-existant now (streamlining their own business over the years), but either way, I would still like to know the location.. I want to check into who owns it, or who may have owned it in the past and some other additional info.. |
What the F^ck are you smoking???,,,Send some of that SH^t this way,,,I also want to read about these "Secret" Ebay/Paypal Wharehouses where all these hideous crimes take place |

It is the airport code for FUKUOKA, Japan.
Each and everyone of their user names is for the end destination.
flight2cdg = Charles De Gaulle ( France)
and so forth.

| vogeltron | 08-12-2013 03:41 AM | I have sold to them flight whatever it is for many years never had a problem. There is no secret warehouse. What they do is the have a web page the translates items into Japanese I this company takes a markup and then bulk sends the items back to Japan.
After they buy something from you you always get annoying automated eBay messages asking you to write the tracking number on the package etc.
Definitely not some secret company buying items from eb/pp. They been around ever since I can remember selling on eBay back to at least 06-07.
I believe it is partially because the main Auction site in Japan is still Yahoo Auctions even though it vanished in America 5-8 years ago. It survived and became the dominant player in Japan. |

| acreech41311 | 08-14-2013 06:36 AM | OP I believe I know where the rumors you have heard of originated, at one point a few years ago at least 5 or so, I used to sell Coach handbags on ebay that I would get at the coach outlet and resell, at that time I was on a few forums that were specific to handbag/fashion enthusiasts as well as some that were for resellers of those items.
Suddenly several members of those forums who were both buyers and sellers found themselves having to deal with a paypal operated "clearinghouse" when a dispute was being filed on a designer item that the buyer was claiming to be ⊗⊗⊗⊗ suddenly paypal began instructing the buyers to send the item to this paypal clearinghouse rather than return it to the seller. Paypal claimed that they would examine the goods in question and if found to be authentic or if authenticity could not be determined they would return it to the seller, if found to be a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ paypal would destroy it.
The problem was none of the sellers ever recieved any of their items back. Granted I am sure some of those folks really were selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗ items but several of the sellers had proof their items were real, reciepts, mypoupette verified auctions etc, but none of them ever recieved any of their items back and paypal never told them what became of their items. I do remember at least one coach powerseller who had said she was going to take legal action against paypal after the third item of hers had been sent to this clearinghouse and never seen again.
I'm not sure what became of that but this did not last long, only a few months if I recall correctly because there was such outrage. Alot of the outrage stemmed from the fact that it was only high end and luxury branded items that were being routed to this clearinghouse, people selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗ $50 ipods and such were not being targeted but people selling a $3000 Hermes wallet or a $2000 Apple laptop were. I never had to deal with it personally but I am aware of many other sellers who did at the time, I think that is where the rumor of a secret paypal warehouse may have stemmed from. |
| john456 | 08-16-2013 09:30 PM | I would not be shocked if this was true. In 2005/2007 ebay was sued to death by luxury companies in europe for selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗ and bypassing their branded stores.
Ebay was the wild west at the time. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 06:53 AM. | |
