YIKES! New PayPal rules!!1
Well I just diligently went through a whole lot of work setting up a new ebay and paypal account under my brother-in-laws information. New address, name, bank account, etc. I ran my feeback up to 25+ pretty quicckly buying cheap items and then posted two items for sale that I had my friends buy and leave feedback for. Low and behold I now just SOLD my very first legitimate item to a stranger awhp paid with PayPal.
PayPal NOW puts the money on hold until the tracking info shows delivered.
I called PayPal and said "Hey my brother has been selling for years without a restriction", why is there a hold on my money. I am verified.
The response - "THIS IS A BRAND NEW EBAY POLICY TO MAKE BUYING A SAFER PLACE. YOU MUST NOW HAVE A FEEDBACK OVER 100 and have BEEN AN EBAY MEMBER FOR AT LEAST 6 months for us to immediately release funds." Not to worry , I was told, the moment the item shows delvered in Track&Confirm the money is released from hold. My account is NOT limited.
This is just brand new ebay/PayPal policy. AND IT STINKS
