do phone them or speak to them in live support to complain.
if enough people do they may revert to an old or add the missing parts upon saying so.
like everything else they make it buyer friendly not seller friendly,

could be seasonal items, could be non-essential, i.e. things funded by disposable income and people's Wants rather than needs.
When the economy is struggling, buyers look at their priorities more seriously
Holiday season is coming. Some have already bought presents, others are saving up for them.
There are too many factors to consider, but as a whole, it feels like eBay has been slowing down.

5k a month might barely make it for some.
I know two years ago before the Holidays Ebay did some heavy advertising ( possibly on a global scale ). I was getting a huge amount of newly registered buyers. Inventory was moving quickly and at very good prices too.
I'm not sure if they still did or do that heavy advertising since then, but a lot less of those newly registered buyers nowadays.

Just recently I have seen eBay advertisement on Russian TV. I wish they would do the same in North America.

Chinese sellers always kill the market for that specific item. We all agree that Chinese sellers should be allowed to flood the market with 1 penny garbage.
But that's beside the point right now and a different topic than this thread.

I think Chinese sellers are BIG part of the problem.
Like I said before.
1. Slow Economy
2. Chinese sellers
3. eBay is switching on and off search results according to geographical location etc ..
4. Too many Sellers in general.

I have been selling on eBay starting since 2003. There are less sellers than in the past. Especially the small ones when it was like a huge garage sale. Competition in the categories I list in have fallen 50-70% no Asian sellers.
Suppose to be a "inelastic" part of the economy. Also I do not sell products that compete directly with Amazon. Economy sucks, the cost of shipping internationally has dramatically increased. At-least in most parts of Europe and America people are broke. I remember 2005-08 I use to send items to Spain, Greece all the time. Now all younger generation is flat broke lucky if they have a job waiting tables.
Cost of shipping at-least in USD has skyrocketed and people are struggling to get by and in a large part of the western world you have a beginning to see a lost generation
. The Tech generation at-least in the US is largely graduating college with over 100k in loans, a worthless Arts Degree and no job prospects. It now takes a College Degree to work at Starbucks in the U.S.

They literally JUST opened ebay Russia, and Paypal is now allowing Roubles as a currency (that was also news 2 days ago), new market new opportunity, of course ebay will advertise.
It's great and all, but eBay should realise that's a new market, it will take time to iron out the kinks in the system.
They should focus on upgrading/fixing the current sites, markets, etc. who will bring huge paychecks from the already established sellers for the holiday season.
I'm sure some of there accountants have done the math, or maybe their projections for Russia are just that massive, but either way they need to do something, otherwise even more sellers will just die off. (not saying that ebay actually care)

With Mark Carney blowing a bigger property bubble than he left in Canada and George Osborne and his help to buy "ponzi" scheme. Buy something now then flip in the next 6 months when phase two sets in and before the bubble crashes.

At the same time, the Chinese sellers have access to eBay....
Who still wins?
eBay does. | | |
