Does the brand actually inform EB or it is EB system who inspected the eb sellers then send the MC999?
This come to my mind because i was selling a 100% auth product and i post listing up. I sold like about 20? i don't rmb. I see there lots seller post the same product up from US CA Hk China Israel etc. I knew this on official website sale price is approx 60 and most seller from amazon or eb sell around 20-40 range including shipping. I notice some seller have this item on and off eb but over 60% of seller's listing always on eb. one of the seller even aim products in north american but ship from asia. In no evidence which eb send me mc999 said it is counterfeit. I don't understand why it happen to my account but not other sellers that is still currently on eb especially one who sell over 1000 pcs.
PS mine item is not anything like lv gucci etc. not in fashion & accessories or health and beauty categories.

An MC999 violation can be sent for a number of reasons - all of which are really only known to eBay. And no, it doesn't have to be part of the VeRO program or counterfeit to have triggered it.
I think you should read through Sandy's list of what can trigger an MC999 to get a better understanding of why you received this.
Thanks for sending me that link, i will look over that and avoid it will happen again.
that seller was there for at lease 1 year sold 1000, i was up for just couple days which makes me so confuse and felt ebay just did it to new seller. Or else that seller's account is link w/ other power seller account
Impossible to say why one person can sell and item and another person cannot.
They may have permission, they may be the right holders, they may have had lots of MC999, they may have linked their account to a very very strong account.
Its best not to base your bussiness on what other people can and cannot do on eBay
