Default Calling Ebay

So I have a rating of 1500 , no negatives 100 percent feedback

I have been selling just two items and making a decent profit on them but i would like to add more items.

When I try it says that I have reached my limit and that I need to call EBay to talk to them about selling more.

Please give me any advice about speaking with them

Thanks

In a word ( or in several) avoid calling them. LOL.

Maybe expand on the age of the account & current limits....

Be prepared if you call to face 'flack'..... if you can not cope with that, avoid.

But let's discuss more when you share the info, my Friend.

On my original account I called in with perfect feedback 100/5000 limit asked for raise , was lucky and given 150 items and now this is pre stealth I sold those 50 in 3 days called in again and 2 days later my account got the MC999

Now just last month and possibly cause of lack of sleep I decided to go against my number one rule NEVER CALL EBAY , so on Sep 19 I get an email congratulating me on earning TRS power so I stupidly decided to call for a raise and on the same day my account became a powerseller account I was restricted from selling , so from Sep 19- Sep 30 I called in once sometimes twice a day had to fax in invoices for every single item I ever sold on ebay , countless hours of work and was lucky that on Sept 30 the person I talked to reviewed my account and invoices and reinstated me, but this was completely luck , if I wouldn't of kept calling and received a person that was willing to help it would of been closed

Never call in unless you don't mind never using ur account again.

This account is just one of many I have but during the limitation I was thinking that even though if I lost this account it wouldn't hurt my income too much but, I started to get greedy because this account makes me $4000 a month profit and you don't realize how good things are till u lose them.

My advice ask urself is it worth u losing all ur income u make a month from ur account because by calling u put ur account under manual review

It's quite possible until u call in not a human soul has ever looked at your account, and all the congrats for this and that u get mean nothing completely computer generated

Because during that limitation I received 4 emails congratulating me on how great a seller and all the discounts that I'd receive being a powerseller but that was the computer the human side thought completely different.

Anyway luckily I was reinstated sold my 100 items the first 5 days of September and was happy to make that income plus the added discounts.

Don't call In create more accounts

Best advice is to wait out the time period - let it cool - build new stealth accounts - dont call up eB unless you want to risk 1) possible verification 2) boring conversation 3) added risk to account

The funny thing is that I can keep re-listing the two items and sell the heck out of them. I only get the warning when trying to add new product

Reached the limit you stated - usually means limit imposed every 30 days so have to wait for the next month cycle

Agree with Dmshark25. If you don't call, chances are they've never looked at your account.

I remember reading that eBay had "hundreds of millions of registered users" in their system. With a few thousand employees, its kinda hard for ebay to pick you out of a crowd unless you give them reason to.

Hence why many of us promote you to operate under the radar. Calling into eBay is the exact opposite of this.

9 times out of 10 calling eb leads to nothing but aggravation and wasted time.

That's one approach - if you fail, you let the account go...
