How to use a friends eBay account

Hi, my friend has an eBay account with decent limits that he does not use anymore and he has offered to give it to me, only thing is he's asked if I can change details of the account to mine, but as I'm banned i can not use my details, would it be ok to change the name and address of the account to a stealth one and link it to a new fully verified paypal account with the same stealth details? and what information would I need to change on the eBay account apart from the name and address, thanks

Shouldnt change anything at all.

And linking a new pp will raise red flags and could lead to the account getting banned.

Yeh but I've been offered a free account with decent selling limits providing I remove he's details from it, not bothered how long it lasts just need some advice on what to do to make it last that little bit longer

its not going to last if u change anything. convince your friend to just use the account. I am currently doing the same thing with one of my friends account and just deposit the money into his bank account and ask him to withdraw it for me till i get my stealths up and running.

Do not use it.

He will need it someday and if it gets taken down you will be the blame.

Happens a lot. Horror stories from those who have done this have been posted.

I am in the same situation just that the account that he offers me never had a paypal linked so he said I can link my own paypal so now I need to make a paypal with the same info on that ebay and add my bank account?right?

Listen to Sandy D`s advice - make your own account.

@Lawyer1993...still a rough situation. Not recommended to play with it...you 100% no pp on the eb account?

If I just leave everything on the account the same but just add a new bank account and number and then change all passwords and that so I'm in full control of it would this be ok?

You are risking your friends account and will get it canned.

Why do that to a friend?

Your friend someday will need to use that account. It will happen as many stories posted here have proven this to be a fact.

Stop trying to short cut and use someone elses account.

Get your own stealths up and running and growing.

I have my own stealths up and running but limits are all low still, my friends said he's not bothered what happens to the account and he definitely won't need it again, so it's gunna get used and abused until my stealths get a few raises, cheers for being concerned but can someone please answer questions on my last post??

Instead of using the terms "used and abused", how about using the account so it last a long time and not just until your stealths grow.

I've already been told it won't last long so gunna get whatever I can out of it until it gets took down, at the same time I will look after my stealths to last for a long time, just see this as a quick profit for someone who's been banned already and hit hard in the pocket so close to xmas

If it hasn't had paypal attached and yours has not been attached elsewhere or been linked to a banned account then I can't see an issue (it could flag it may not), don't assume it will go to the dogs though. If it's established your better off running it conservatively giving your another account. Be very careful with IP and cookies etc though just incase.

If he has a verified paypal attached, it easiest to just attach your bank account and then remove it once your stealths are sorted then his account will be fine.
