what would be a good reason to file? Concerns about identity theft?

Re: MC999 Your eBay account is restricted

Just type in search on u tube theres many videos on obtaining a second SS #

But you will probably add that and get suspended maybe not right away but ebay does not like new big sellers, unless ur name is Walmart, or Bloomingdales etc...

Once you start making money and your not a brand name corporation they will tear u apart and find something or find nothing but I just can't see running a software company making millions in revenue and eBay just leaving u alone. And it could be after 3 years or 10 years but they eventually get everyone

Also 4.5 DSRs?? You better get them higher especially if u go thru the trouble of getting another Social.

Ebay sets high standards and do not show mercy unless you are apple or Microsoft , but just one of us starting a business on eBay ?
, just say you sold 304 items and received 300 positive high DSR ratings and that get something like 2 neutral and 2 negatives with a 1 or 2 rating from all 4 of those 4 customers in item not described your below standard and when that happens limits get lowered holds on Paypal come back and your business is finished or on complete slow down, all your listings get put on the last pages

With limits on accounts it's hard to overcome something like this and it happens all the time , if there's no limits you could sell 400 $1.99 items that will get u a positive and get u out of trouble but what if ur at the 100/10,000 limit it would be so hard

Why can't you run multiple accounts where instead of making one account making 2 million why not set it up where u have 20 accounts making $100,000 a year????

I would do 50 myself but 100,000 a year you have a better chance of surviving than one big 2 million dollar account

Also you already went through this once so you know the power ebay has over you, why not take some control back and spread the sales out so if one gets closed it's not a total collapse and you should have backups alway going ready to step in if one does go down.

I know this all sounds like a lot and crazy but , if one account worked we all wouldn't be here, it sucks that we need to operate like this and makes it more work but that is what needs to be if you want to sell on ebay , we can't change there rules but we can breakdown eBays logic and develop a system to bypass eBays system to make a more stable profitable business but the most important point is don't put all ur eggs in one basket.

If you can rub one 2 million dollar account there is no reason you can't run 50 20,000 a year accounts or 100 $10,000 a year accounts which would be your best way to go here and it is possible

I run 100s of stealth accounts a year and operate them to keep active etc all year long and them hit them hard in late Nov and Dec.

Easy to run them with even being asked for the IRS request.

Wow interesting to note - would not like eB/pp ever having any SSN or equivalent info but to change it for this reason alone...hmm debatable.

Yes it is extreme but there are so many reasons why it's worth the time for probably half the U.S. population. If it ever comes to half the U.S. population I'm sure the option will be eliminated accept for certain government matters.

This process is not publicized yet by hungry late night TV law firms.

You don't get a new SS number that replaces your original.

You get an additional number that you can now use and create a new credit history.

Your original number lives on with the credit bureau.

You are now legally stealth.

This can really help a family with a recent bankruptcy or a financial catastrophe due to not wanting to file a bankruptcy.

Not to mention identity theft be it a total stranger or an ex-partner that wants to continue to make you miserable.

Your original is still yours.

To apply for a mortgage loan you will have to provide your prospective lender copies of your recent tax returns so at this point in your new identity you would have to have changed it with your reported income providers so the right number gets on your 1040.

Bottom line, only the Social Security Administration knows your 2 numbers and they do not give either to anyone.

And then by coincidence there's the fact that you are an eBay and PayPal virgin.........
