Asking for feedback
 

Hi, just wondered if your allowed to message a buyer and ask nicely for them to leave some feedback? I've got buyers who bought stuff from me over 5 weeks ago and was thinking of messaging them to ask, as eBay make up there own rules just wondered if they had anything against sellers doing this or is it ok to do? It's not something I would do often it's just I want to get abit more feedback before my next account evaluation on the 20th of this month, cheers

Something I tend to say when asking is that "the post office actually charged me $5 more than I expected for shipping, which I ended up paying. I hope you can appreciate that and leaving just a positive feedback would mean a lot to me. Thanks, have a great day"

Something along the lines of that. I usually word it much better though lol..Try to make them think you helped them out by not asking for extra money for shipping, or make them "feel bad"..Or I'll say I paid extra to insure the item for them. Or I'll say that I paid a bit extra for a shipping method that helped get it to them 1 or 2 days faster.

Every time not left for me I request most cordially. This is my sample.

"Hi, I see you have received your item and hope you are pleased. If there is a problem kindly contact me to resolve. I am a new seller on EB and would greatly appreciate you leaving me positive feedback which I have already done for you. Thank you very much."
