Ebay has been calling all my phones on every account !
 

Anybody else get any calls from ebay I received 2 last night and 3 just now

I wish I had more info but they were all missed calls exempt for one and it was an automated voice I heard "hit one" and I hit it it said goodbye

I called back im one just now they said it was just promotional x
Calls even though all the options I have unchecked not to receive calls

I set all voicemails with my stealth name. This is the first time I received any calls wonder if they are checking up tome they really are for promotions

Anyone been getting these yesterday and now??

Well I just had a heart attack all the accounts were down until they were able to call the phone registered to the account and gave a pin for each account

They are checkin to see if ur number is working

Nope, No call....YET! lol. Maybe your accounts are just special? :noidea: gonna have to keep an ear out for any calls.

Didn't call me yet.. Promotional calls are usually rare, but are usually just left on Voicemail. It's the holiday season, they've been spamming my email inboxes.

Either way, PIN should be easy verifiable.. :3

I had one ring late last night and when I checked the number it was ebay.

Did not get to the phone as I was sleeping, heard it and said no way am I getting up to answer it.

Checked the account and it is fine.

Guess they are not working 9-5.

Might have been an area code on the caller ID.

Did you turn off the "Phone updates and promotions" in your communication preferences. Seriously took me like 3-4 years before I realized I could turn off those phone messages.

Easy.

Google the number and it will show you.

Also, if you have the handy dandy list of ebay and paypal phone numbers it always helps.

I always check that off but they will still call time to time.

Mine was set to YES!

I had no clue about this. I better turn that off.

There are a whole list of "Promotions and Surveys" and all of mine are set to YES. I will go ahead of turn them all off now.

I knew I wasn't the only person that never looked at this stuff. I was always more interested in trying to list items and sell than worry about how eBay contacted me. You live you learn.

I just created 2 stealth ebay account and both got MC999 your account is suspended. I created them in Dec first week just few days ago and both are gone for good

off late they are checking things again USA public data looks like

I had a phone call this morning from eBay and couldn't pick up. 10 minutes later I check my account and bam SUSPENDED. My guess is they are checking to see if the account is yours.

If you use a smart phone ( Iphone or any android ) install the free app YouMail. once you have a missed call it will tell you who it was. I dk how it works but it gets it right 99% of the time including eBay.
