Using same merchant account from a suspended ebay account in a new ebay account

I read that if you buy a new account, you must not change account details right away.
Is it safe to change the paypal information? One more question:
I got suspended from ebay and I was using my merchant account. Can I use the same merchant account with the new ebay account that I bought? By doing so, is there a way that ebay may link my suspended account with the one I just bought?

Yes I can see the merchant account linking quite easily if eB does a manual check on your account.

I feel like using the same merchant account would link easily. I would just add to the paypal account info instead of completely removing everything.
