Re: Should I make the call to increase selling limits for legit account?

If this is a legit account, why don't you just give them a call?

Or

Is this a legit account under somebody else's name?

Re: Should I make the call to increase selling limits for legit account?

Just went through that the other day. They asked me 3 questions I would know.
1. What year did I buy my house.
2. Asked what my daughters age was.
3. The 2 middle digits of my SSN.

They where also multiple choose and I asked if they where doing a credit check? He said no just public records. The one that freaked me out was about my daughter.

Its best not to call eBay just max out your selling limit each month and they will increase your limits and ship your items out quick

Call eBay for limits. HELP!!!

Account is UNDER REAL name and the address is real and the person who own that house/ address has same last name too. So if eBay pull up public records for that address they will see same last name.

I am a wholesaller and we are big volume seller. I opened an account with a friend of mine info and he is working for me too. Different address and everything.

Account is +2 yrs old but first sale was a month ago. Has 15 FB now. 10/$1000 limit but we can't do that low or open many account. Our account is real.

We can also provide ID card to eBay too.
I know I should never call eBay but our account is real and we need to raise.

Do they really ask for ID card always and invoice?
Do you think i should make the call now or wait 2 months so it passed 3 months of first sale?

Current limit is 10 items or $1000. Very low. Our monthly sale is over $100k on the old account. I know I should not list too fast but I can not wait 3 months to gain FB and see if it will automatically raise it to $5000 which is still low too for us.

Is it a good idea to call after a month when I have 10 or 15 FB?

The new account is all real info and bank confirmed with PP.

This is your OP. Yet today you posted you made an account with a friend and had the same basics.

Is there any reason(s) for the following:

Telling different stories about the account & how they are made?

Insisting on being given the OK to call ebay although you are advised it may cause issues.

Not understanding that it takes time and patience to rebuild an account.

This is your worst downfall. If you lost an account you should have an idea of the reasons. You dismissed the loss as 'no reasons at all'.

ebay ALWAYS has reasons. The issue is that users who get suspended fail to understand them. Thay is because they do not want to understand.

Phoning in for limits increase is a grave risk, regardless of ID available.

Lacking patience to nuture an account is risky.

Doing business with friends or family is risky.

Sorry the words are not more encouraging.
:peace:
