| | | Joenice | 12-31-2013 07:49 PM | Should I call to increase limits? Old account was suspended for no reason after many years and great FB.
I am using cousin account was opened 3 yrs ago but never sold anything on it. I start selling and sold a few item. We have LOW risk items price range from $10 to $70.
Current limit is 10 items or $1000. Very low. Our monthly sale is over $100k on the old account. I know I should not list too fast but I can not wait 3 months to gain FB and see if it will automatically raise it to $5000 which is still low too for us.
Is it a good idea to call after a month when I have 10 or 15 FB?
The new account is all real info and bank confirmed with PP. |
| BigCJ | 12-31-2013 10:29 PM | Re: Should I call to increase limits? Not recommended at all.
But if you can afford to risk the account and the information on the account..Give it a shot. |

I can't really stand with these low limits. Our monthly sale is over 80k usually and we should start fast. What is your best suggestion? |

| Can't have your cake and eat it too when it comes to stealth. You may be use too $80K a month but your not going to be there any day soon with Stealth. It takes time to build accounts and it should be done as prescribed on the forum.
Sell up to your limits every month and let those limits increase naturally. In some cases limits may increase quickly but it a lot cases it takes a little while. |

Dude, the account is FAR too YOUNG,,after 90 Days of consistent selling, and Good Feedback/DSRs you should get Automatic increases monthly, if you Call you run a HIGH Risk of Ebay asking you Verification Questions that you will NOT be able to answer, thus losing your account,,
Do you really expect Ebay to allow you to sell 100,000 a month on an account that is LESS than a year old,,,are you out of your mind?,,,If it were that easy do you have ANY idea how many more millionairs there would be in this country?,,,Good and PROPER Stealth practices are a FULL Time JOB,,That is why you CONSISTANTLY hear about the VAST number of benefits to be had with MULTIPLE Accounts,,,so "Roll up your sleeves" and get to WORK by Making MORE accounts,,,and STOP looking for shortcuts that do NOT exist |
| Joenice | 01-01-2014 07:10 PM | Re: Should I call to increase limits? Well, the issue is that the account is under real name and address. Been opened 3 yrs ago but never sold anything on it.
So the account is legit and owned by my cousin who has different last name and address from me. I can sell for a month or when I have like 2 FB then make a call? even if they ask for ID card, we can send them since the account is legit. What do you think? |
Re: Should I make the call to increase selling limits for legit account? If the account is legit then all you have to do is go online and click on "Raise Selling Limit" and answer the questions.
Also, There is no need to double post, posting the same question in multiple locations makes it harder to respond effectively. |

Why I have such I low? 10 /$1000. Usually ppl get 100/$5000 |

You have your answer: It is NOT recommended. The risk is your own.
Either do it, or let the account sit and grow naturally. |
| Pasicel | 01-01-2014 08:49 PM | Re: Should I call to increase limits? It's very risky. If you're willing to risk it, then by all means go for it.
I still highly recommend avoiding that route.
They will ask what type of items you are selling, how are you obtaining them and if answer them wrong, expect to send in invoices, social, and more crap. &
considering you do not have 90 days of selling they wont give you much of a selling limit jump.
Best of luck. |

although the risk is somewhat diminished because all of the info is real, I STILL do NOT recommend doing it |

You want to sell more? Make new STEALTH accounts and build. Go for the slow route not fast calling route |
Re: Should I call to increase limits? Well, it is your account that you are risking. If you want, go for it
Or easier way, spread your sales |
| JamesNorth101 | 01-03-2014 06:38 PM | Re: Increasing Limits You would be much better off creating stealth accounts to increase the amount you can sell. |
Re: Increasing Limits I would agree with James. I have done things like you have in the past, but it ends bad, many things can happen.
You could raise limit quickly with stealth accounts.
IMO there is no reason for you to be on the forum if your not doing stealth >.> |
| BigCJ | 01-04-2014 12:01 AM | Re: Increasing Limits This is the Third thread about the same question.
No one here is going to coddle you and no one is going to do it for you.
Either do it or don't.
You have 2 options:
Either CALL in and get the possible increases with NO selling history on the account. Be scrutinized and get shut down.
OR
Get/Make Stealth accounts like EVERYONE ELSE has told you in the past 3 days and spread out sales to meet your financial goals.
If its legitimate, you have a greater chance of getting the increase.
If its stealth then you risk more.
How hard is that?
Everyone is telling you NOT to call but you seem to be trying to beat around the bush to get an answer to your liking. |

| brownsauce215 | 01-04-2014 09:16 AM | Re: Should I call to increase limits? I just called in to remove restriction and figure I asked for a raised. They automatically started asking me public records questions. I told them my story. They said no problem and they couldn't raised. PHEWW .. Never again will I ask for a raised via calling lol
Just spread your sales and keep selling and let good ol ebay incrase for you automatically. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 08:32 AM. | |
