Want to raise limits, ebay wants business acount

Hi guys, I have a 390 selling limit at the moment, it did increase from 120 a few months ago for no reason. However when I now click to increase my limits, ebay insists i create a business account. I dont want to do this because you need to add VAT numbers etc which I dont have, because i just sell large quantities of cheap items so limits are becoming a problem when i have to stop 1 week into the month.

You operate as a business so set up your ebay accounts as a business.

VAT registration is not essential unless you exceed the VAT threshold.

Also changing to business will not guarantee an increase. You'll still need to phone up and discuss what you are selling etc.

It really depends what you are selling and how you are performing. I had to change to business account before and I got my limits increased by phoning them. However, now I am in a similar situation and still having some doubts about the call, but for different reasons.
