Re: why ebay not allowing people to selling unlock iphone code?
I would think that selling something that unlocks any phone breaks some companies Term of Service contract with the user. In the eyes of EBay's lawyers that is a higher chance of lawsuits.
Or maybe because Apple told eBay something and eBay does it to keep Apple happy.
Re: why ebay not allowing people to selling unlock iphone code?
Apple actively monitors listings - the brand name is very hot for takedowns...so I dont think it's ONLY eB per say that does the blocking...Apple would still be involved (or has been involved so much that eB has decided all Apple stuff is open to takedown)
Re: why ebay not allowing people to selling unlock iphone code?
Unlocking the phone is definitely breaking terms of agreement with the service provider that the phone was assigned for, if it is a Verizon IPhone than it's not meant to be unlocked to get service from another carrier

Lots of item's you can not sell on eBay. Anything that has to do with hacking a device I am sure is something they will remove. Same goes with MOD chips for video games systems, etc.
